The Dvaita Vedanta Department was started in the year 1998, with the effort of then Chancellor, a renowned Sanskrit Scholar, and Economist  Dr. V.R. Panchamukhi Ji.  Great scholars like Prof. K. Hayavadana Puranik Ji President awardee, Prof. R.G.Malagi Ji worked in the department. Prof. Narasimhacharya Purohit  who is a great scholar in Dvaita Vedanta, Naveena Nyaya Shastra. Under Major Research Project he had Published two big Volumes of Dvaita Vedanta Vishva Kosha.
